CHALLENGE
Take a former tanning salon with many individual rooms and open it up to include a retail space for the client's own natural skin and hair care products, an office, a break room, a lab area, and two washrooms. In addition to the interior architecture, the business needed a full brand to be created including logo, package design and advertising.

SOLUTION
Knock down all walls except the load bearing wall to create three areas: retail store and storage room; the break room, storage area, ADA washroom and office; and a lab area for creating products onsite and another ADA washroom. The final materials include dark oak flooring, custom walnut fixtures with quartz countertops throughout. The floor in the retail area has a pebble tile detail running around the perimeter of the store with a copper transition between the tile and the oak flooring. Custom-designed living wall feature, woodcut panels, fixtures and shelving, and sink create an airy modern and zen environment. The brand was developed and designed concurrently with the interior architecture.
